Oh boy, the obligatory page in which I explain things about the blog! This is exciting!

As I first write this, this tumblr has been up for 1 day and I have 4 followers, all of whom are friend of mine. Still, at some point, I’m hoping I will have readers who are not previously familiar with me, so now’s a good time for introductions. This place will be, after all, mostly my thoughts, so if you know what I’m like, you can know what to expect from the content.

My name is Max Dweck. I’m a 19-year-old liberal arts student studying screenwriting. My whole life I’ve enjoyed entertaining people. In the past few years, I’ve narrowed this down to a love of writing, and the possibility of my thoughts and ideas giving people happiness for even a moment is the greatest feeling in the world for me. So while I pursue my creative endeavors, I figure I’d do some non-creative opinion sharing here, and try to make it interesting or entertaining for other people.

What To Expect Here:

The content of this blog will be primarily based on my interests, many of which are nerdy. Expect to read a lot about video games, comics, superheroes, anime, manga, and cartoons. I may also talk about my creative pursuits once in a while. I do some work online, meaning that if I write a script and my friend animates it, I’m going to plug it here. I don’t find anything wrong with self-promotion, but it’s not like I’m going to oversaturate this place with it either.

What I can tell you is that this is not a blog about me. It’s about my thoughts and ideas, and while I may share stories of my life from time to time, I will only share them if I think there’s something interesting to take away from them.

I will also try not to talk about heavy topics like politics or religion. Past experiences have taught me that it’s just not a good idea to go on about this stuff online.
